ScripPickr is a financial services start-up looking at ways to create collaborative networks for licensed advisors and investors and the Australian Financial Services Industry.

We think that it’s time Social Networking met Investing, so ScripPickr’s first initiative is to create a Social Trading platform for Australia, NZ and South East Asia.

More and more investors are meeting and sharing ideas online and in trading communities/forums, but still the communities are restricted by features such as message boards, blogs, chat rooms, and podcasts.

We want to change the way people interact about their investing.

Currently in development, the use of social media concepts combined with proprietary algorithms and user interfaces allows us to target audiences that include;

• the retail investor, through Australia and South-East Asia, as well as
• the B2B Licensed Financial Services market.

For example, one of our social trading applications will allow traders intraday monitoring of their positions as well as those of their peers, private groups, and trading clubs via online & mobile technologies

Launching Alpha and Beta in Australia, this new offering has been developed to allow us to launch into South East Asia once in Production.
